Software - The software that comes with the laser is really bad, really bare bones. Throw them away and go online for better set up instructions. Instructions - Very poorly translated, they make no sense. Note: When working in Laserdrw, you need to enter your motherboard info to get the proper calibration. The cutting area is small-ish, but can be upgraded and made larger. Mine had a 1ohm resistance from power supply to ground pin of the power plug. You need to break out a multimeter to verify the grounding is good, since this laser has a lot of voltage driving it. The laser itself is great: easy to set up, calibrated very well, good power with smooth movement.
Great laser, throw the instructions right in the trash.
